Just like our School Council, our Eco-Committee play a key role in life at Fourtowns Primary School.
There are 12 members of the Committee in total, pupils from P4-7. We also have two Eco-Mascots, Eco Hop and Bright Spark. The Committee are the lead on the school's involvement in the Eco-Schools project. It is their job to make sure that as a school we are all making positive decisions about our environment.
They help the whole school tackle issues around litter, energy, water, waste, transport, healthy living, outdoor learning, biodiversity, global perspective and climate change.
We are currently working towards our Green Flag Award. As part of this process the Eco-Committee hope to invite accessors to our school later this academic year to demonstrate all the fantastic eco-work that has been happening at Fourtowns Primary School.
